Her look was wonderful as she said, as I recall it: “Yes, I felt it when you wrote to me, and you are nearer to me in the resurrection thought than anyone I ever touched. That is the reason I told you not to go to anyone else to be taught, but to come to me.”

There were a number of other interesting experiences. One lady said that once or twice a brilliant light had flooded her book as she was reading.

Teaching by question and example

Mrs. Eddy when the class was over, said she had not known before how many days she should teach, but this class had been so satisfactory that she would have only one more session, which would be the next day. She said she should make no charge for this class. “When first establishing this Cause,” I recall her saying, “I needed money, but I have now learned that God is with me, that He gives me everything, and I cannot lack.” A little later she added, as I recollect: “When you stand before a mirror and look at your reflection, it is the same as the original. Now you are God’s reflection. If His hands are full, your hands are full, if you image Him. You cannot know lack. I have learned now that He does give us everything.”

Then she asked us questions. One was, “What is the best way to do instantaneous healing?” Many arose. Some said, “Realize the ever-presence of good”; others, “Deny the claims of evil.” There were many answers, but when they had finished, she said, as I remember: “I will tell you the way to do it. It is to love! Just live love—be it—love, love, love. Do not know anything but Love. Be all love. There is  ● ● ●
