Foreword

During the latter half of the nineteenth century and the first decade of the twentieth, the figure of Mary Baker Eddy appears on the human scene. Her discovery of the Science that underlay the sacred ministry of the Master, Christ Jesus, and shone through his healing works marks an era of unprecedented change and upheaval in the development of human thought.
