Welcome to Writer’s Corner!
Thank you for contemplating what it means to contribute to the Christian Science magazines. In praying about this activity, we have found the ideas in this quote a great place to start:
Love for God and man is the true incentive in both healing and teaching. Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way. Right motives give pinions to thought, and strength and freedom to speech and action. Love is priestess at the altar of Truth. Wait patiently for divine Love to move upon the waters of mortal mind, and form the perfect concept. Patience must “have her perfect work.”
—Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 454

Readers feel the effect of how editors and writers work out points of metaphysics. There will be healings in the Field as people read that sentence and feel the work that has gone on behind the scenes! Thank you for what you are sharing. It's so vastly more than just some ink on paper.

I felt closer to every other Christian Scientist who has submitted testimonies over the years. I had a strong sense of being part of a worldwide movement and doing my part, however modest, in nurturing and supporting that movement.
–Carol
What a joy to have an article or testimony become part of the "official organ" of Christian Science.
–Holly
I could never begin to quantify how much I've been helped by testimonies and articles others have published, so I'm trying to commit to putting some of my many healings down in print.
–Sarah
It was helpful to clarify the ideas expressed, and the editing process helped me make a commitment to live more practically, substantially, and regularly the ideas for living grace.
