●   ●   ●    November 15, 1898, she dispatched identical telegrams to seventy individuals—most of them students of hers but some of them especially promising Christian Scientists who had come on the scene more recently. In somewhat mysterious terms they were asked to be present at Christian Science Hall in Concord on the following Sunday afternoon, November 20, to receive “a great blessing,” and with two or three exceptions they all made it.
