In battling her very human desire to elevate Foster Eddy beyond his present capacities to the level of her ideal for him, she was learning some hard lessons about her mothering of the Christian Science movement. Yearning to see him fulfill his potentialities, she was all too ready to forgive and forget the evidences of his unreadiness to accept the responsibilities she had given him.
