A week later, in a meeting at the Choates’ home in Boston, the Christian Scientist Association adopted a set of resolutions drawn up by Clara Choate, Putney Bancroft, and Abbie Whiting. These resolutions were marked by a new, bold, somewhat mystical tone which the events of the period seem to have evoked by way of reaction: 1 st  Resolved.
