Mary turned again to the many tasks at hand, including settling into the new house on elegant Commonwealth Avenue that she’d moved into in late December. Classes were still held at the Metaphysical College, but now, at 66, she had a home entirely of her own for the very first time, one that didn’t have to be shared with lodgers or students.
