New audio programs coming to JSH-Online

Update: You are invited to submit your questions on September's audio topic, "Healing answers to violence." To send us a question, visit the Monthly audio topic page. Read below for more details about the new audio programs.

We’re excited to share that new audio programming is coming to JSH-Online this September.

Subscribers will have access to a new weekly Sentinel podcast, monthly Journal podcast, and audio versions of articles and testimonies from both periodicals. Also, those wanting to listen to an entire Journal or Sentinel will have the option of streaming or downloading the full issue. With a single click, you’ll be able to listen to the latest issue of The Christian Science Journal or Sentinel from start to finish.

As the new programs begin, the hour-long Sentinel Chats will be retired. The final Sentinel Chat will air on Tuesday, August 16, featuring Marian English, CSB, discussing “How praying with the Lord’s Prayer brings healing.”

In addition, JSH-Online subscribers will continue to have access to the full archive of the Sentinel—Radio Edition, but weekly rebroadcasts will no longer be featured in order to make room for fresh, current programs.

All listeners can look forward to the Sentinel’s new "Question of the Week" podcast beginning the first week of September. For subscribers, here’s the complete preview of our new line-up of programs.

SENTINEL WATCH, a weekly podcast of the Christian Science Sentinel, will be available at the beginning of September and include two components:

News of Healing—adults, teens, and children share their testimonies of healing.

Question of the Week—Christian Science practitioners respond to questions from listeners on a selected topic.

RECORD OF TRUTH, a monthly podcast of the Journal, launches the last Friday of September. Each month, one of two formats will be aired:

A Deeper Look—Christian Science practitioners discuss a timely topic with the program host. Listeners will be able to submit questions in advance.

On the Table—Two or three guests and a moderator engage in a lively metaphysical discussion around a current issue or topic. Again, listeners will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance to be discussed by the roundtable guests.

We’ll begin accepting questions on September’s topic, “Finding healing answers to violence,” on Monday, August 15. We hope to hear from you!
